This week in Preschool, our book of the week has been Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Through this story, the children have explored important values such as respect for other people’s belongings and learning that we should always ask before touching or using something that isn’t ours.

The story has also helped us practice size language, comparing objects that are small, medium, and big, just like the bears’ bowls, chairs, and beds! The children have enjoyed retelling the story using small-world play.

We also took time this week to reflect on Remembrance Day, learning in an age-appropriate way about remembering people who help keep us safe. The children created their own bright red poppies using paint and printing techniques, which are now proudly displayed in our classroom.
