Year 1 have been developing their movement skills through dance this term. We have been using counts to stay in time with the music, and changing our movements every 8 or 16 beats. We have also been responding to stimuli such as stories or images and creating different dances about trees blowing in the wind or toys looking for a lost teddy! Every week we get to perform our dance to half of the class who give us feedback on what they thought went well, and how we could improve.
