The Year Threes have just completed two weeks of touch-typing training, and they are very proud to have published their own 'Internet Safety' leaflets to celebrate this. 

We practised becoming efficient touch-typists through games online that challenged us to use all of our fingers and thumbs to type, rather than just our index finger. We learned which keys belonged to which finger, and although we were slow at first, our score grew with every practice. We also discovered the 'Shift' key to more efficiently use capital letters.

We listened to exciting stories such as 'But It's Just a Game' and '#Goldilocks', which prompted lots of interesting discussions about what it means to be safe online. We were then able to format and publish our own leaflets with tips for staying safe, that others could read and learn from.
