To celebrate Safer Internet Day, we (year two) have taken part in a variety of different activities! We used emotion cards to demonstrate how somebody might feel towards certain internet safety scenarios – We had to explain why they would feel that way and came up with some sensible advice in case it happens in real life! We then took part in an activity which involved us exploring how different types of technology have changed over the years. We also described how technology and the internet can change people’s feelings and how to get help from a trusted adult – We did this through reading ‘Mo and Jaz’s Story’!

During our session, we referred back to other online safety stories such as ‘Webster’s Email’, which we learnt about in our Computing topic this year.
