This week in Maths we have been developing our understanding of number composition (the numbers within numbers). We learnt to represent number 6 as "5 and a bit" on our fingers and used counters to represent 6 on a Hungarian die pattern.
Later on, during continuous provision, we put our knowledge to use, counting 6 pieces of food on our dinner plate!
