Fitness in Year 5

This term, we have been improving our fitness levels.

We learned to play the game Catch Tennis. We had to stand opposite our partner: one partner threw the ball underarm so that it bounced and their partner had to catch it after one bounce.  The partner with the ball had to throw the ball back, again underarm and one bounce before caught. Points were gained when your partner missed the catch. We made it harder by moving on to one handed catches only.
