In Computing this term, Year 4 have been exploring the function of search engines. We discovered how to use a search engine effectively and how to decide what we can trust online. We had a go at building our own Romans-themed websites based on knowledge from our History topic earlier in the year. We then ranked our websites according to an algorithm and thought about how we could optimise the content to make it appear higher in search engine results.
