The children in Reception found something unexpected in their water tray one day. It was ice! Of course, they had to melt it. They chose pipettes to work with and began pouring warm water over the ice. They worked as a team, bringing in more warm water when the one in the tray got too cold, breaking up the ice cubes to melt them faster. They took turns holding the ice in their hands watching it melt. They managed to melt all the ice by the end of the day!
