Year 5 have been working on their computing skills. Not just that, they also had to use their mathematical skills to complete this topic!
They had to create a spreadsheet which calculates multiplication facts. They used the function ‘sum’ to calculate totals and ‘copy’ and ‘paste’ data using keyboard shortcuts. After that, they had to sort data meaningfully and insert graphs! In summary, for the last 2 weeks, year 5 have been developing their:
- Competence in coding for a variety of practical and inventive purposes.
- Ability to connect with others safely and respectfully.
-Understanding of the connected nature of devices.
- Ability to collect, organise and manipulate data effectively.
