In their latest Science unit, year 4 has been exploring States of Matter. As part of the unit, we have investigated the scientific question; "Why does water seem to disappear?" where we learnt that when water boils it turns from a liquid into a gas called water vapour. This made us wonder if the world could ever run out of water. What happens to water after it has become water vapour? We investigated by using ice to create condensation on a cup from steam. Our teacher explained how clouds are a form of condensation which then falls to earth as precipitation. Confused? Look at our fantastic posters to help explain!
