Year 2 have been learning about portraits for Art week.
We have been inspired by the work of Thomas Gainsborough and have used paint to experiment with tints and shades as well as discussing the impact of cool colours and warm colours in portraits. Our final piece was taking a photograph of our friend and creating our very own portrait. We even exhibited our work to the other children in our year group.
