Children explore gender stereotypes in our book trollies and library.
As part of Gender Equality week, children explored the findings from a review of the top 100 children's picture books which had some thought-provoking findings about how boys and girls are presented, how often characters are in main or leading roles and how frequently characters speak. We took part in an audit of our own books in our book trollies and library and we had some surprising results!
