Year 2 had a great day out today at the Horniman Museum, building on our knowledge about habitats from our Science unit. We had a chance to try our hand at pond dipping, discovered some exciting microhabitats with plenty of minibeasts (and even an amphibian!) and also enjoyed looking around the museum itself. Everything we learnt is helping us to answer our big question for Science this term: Why don't polar bears live in Hackney?
