Year One have made a great start to DT week!
Year One learnt about free-standing structures and how to make them more stable. Children made a structure more stable using a base. They then made a structure with anchors and another without anchors but with a brace. All of these practical techniques will come in very handy when it comes to following their design brief later in the week!
