Year 5 are rearing chicks to support their learning about life cycles in Science.
This week there was a special delivery in Year 5- two sets of eggs that were ready to hatch! The children have been enjoying observing them hatch over the last few days and will be caring for them for the next two weeks.
Over the next week they will be comparing some of the ways that the chicks develop in their first ten days of life to other organisms, including humans! Who do you think has the greatest percentage weight increase in the first ten days of life- a chick or a human baby?
