Dear Parents and Carers,

We hope you have had a good rest over the holidays. As you will be aware, the government has changed its policy on schools opening in January. As things stand, primary schools in Hackney are due to open on 4th January. However, this is an extremely fluid situation and so we have been advised by Hackney Education to take Monday 4th January as a school inset day.

Therefore, London Fields will be closed on this day and term will start on 5th January. We are very sorry for this very late notice but as you will understand we are having to react to an ever-changing landscape.

We will try to give you as much notice as possible should the situation change again.
