In our last Forest School session for this year, the children made their own Christmas tree using a hammer and nails to put it together and decorating it with natural found objects and string. They worked so hard with the tools and looked around for the most beautiful leaves on the ground, finding a very long worm in the process. There was also a lot of lovely imaginative play with tree logs being rockets and trains and the children journeying to lots of places- the moon included!
