Yesterday Dylan Kawende visited and shared his reflections on learning and study tips to help his class namesake excel in their goals.
The children were inspired by his attitudes to learning and study tips. They learnt about the Pygmalion effect and the importance of having high expectations of yourself. The children also shared some poetry they have been working on while studying 'Freedom on the Menu'.
They were so inspired by the afternoon that the children have decided, like Dylan Kawende, to start a daily class journal to set learning goals and reflect on their successes. They have also asked to create posters of some of his study tips to help them during their lessons.
