In Design &Technology, Year Two focused on textiles as young designers! We got our needles and thread to sew animal hand puppets for Reception children to play with! We made sure that our designs were colourful for our intended users. We looked at existing hand puppets that we bought in from home, for ideas and practised our cutting and sewing skills before designing and making our own puppets. Throughout our design process, we reminded ourselves of our ‘think, make, ‘break’ and repeat process until we were happy with the final result!
