As part our RE topic, we took a trip to our local church to learn more about Christianity and different denominations. We learnt that St Michael and All Angels is a part of the Church of England. The Vicar spoke to us about key beliefs in Christianity, Baptism and the Eucharist. We were also introduced to the Apostles’ Creed and the Lord’s Prayer. We were able to share all our learning and ask even more questions! We then took part in a quiz in groups, where we got to explore the church and explain why the Cross and Jesus is important to Christians.
