  • Debate Mate: Round 1

    Published 08/02/19, by Adam Donalson

As part of their debate mate club, year 5 and 6 were invited to participate in the Urban Debate League. 4 debates of 4 vs 4 against rival schools to be crowned the champion debaters!

Round 1 saw 2 teams face off in 2 debates. Their motions were 'this house would ban pets' and 'this house would make summer holidays 3 weeks shorter'. The participants didn't find out which side they would argue, for or against, until 15 minutes before the debate!

Everyone put in a phenomenal effort and we won 3 out of 4 of our debates. Round 2 will be happening in March.

  • Collage Art Week

    Published 06/12/18, by Nedal Al-Chamaa

We have had an amazing art week at London Fields. Our focus was collage! We explored lots of artists who have used collage techniques to create some classic masterpieces! Their work inspired us to have our own go at mastering collage techniques. We had lots and lots of fun and produced some fantastic collages. We displayed all of our art work in an amazing outdoor collage piece called 'Park Life.' Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated our art work and thank you to the wind for not blowing it all away- it was touch and go at times!!!

Please have a look at the PowerPoint we created documenting the project.
