Work for us
Working for London Fields Primary School could be one of the best decisions you'll ever make - if you are someone who really believes in making a difference through becoming an outstanding teacher. As a result of the federation we now need to recruit a number of dedicated teachers.
The school:
·serves an area that contains very high levels of deprivation
·needs teachers/education support staff who want to go the extra mile because they fundamentally believe the children deserve the best possible start
·insists that the basic standard for performance has to be at least good – no child deserves less
·has lovely children- children that need teachers who consistently rise to the daily challenge of ensuring the best possible outcomes
Great training
We will give you the opportunity to learn the most effective methods for teaching literacy and numeracy. All staff employed for September 2008 will receive training in:
·Ruth Miskin’s brilliant ReadWriteInc programme (or our Key Stage 2 literacy programme, which has Success For All as a key component)
·Richard Dunne’s inspirational Making Maths Make Sense programme.
These programmes are chosen as they offer the complete, logical and successful answers to the needs of every child. They are highly supportive to teachers in terms of planning and preparation – they significantly reduce planning time, ensuring your energy is focused on the teaching and marking.
Training in effective marking (www.effectivemarking.co.uk) will be a key priority and we will make the best use of ICT to support teaching in intelligent ways and reduce burdens on teachers.
Our Expectations
We expect high levels of commitment to:

You can expect:
·the best guidance and support
·to work in a different way, a better way, than that which has become the norm
·children who will achieve so much – in every sense- because of you doing this
·in short – a transformational experience!
