What did the children think about the school in September? What are we doing to make it better?

We surveyed all Year 5 and 6 children in mid-September 2008.
Many responses from the children were very positive. However, we decided that to make things even better we would do a number of things…
+ Implement a new behaviour policy. We will keep looking at what is happening and make sure it is all working properly.
+ Give you new reward stickers for very specific types of behaviour
+ Improve the school building – although you didn’t think this was a problem – we do!! You deserve much better.
We also thought that you could all do a lot better with all the new teachers and teaching methods. So we are going to give every child in the school an Education Plan. You will be set targets and we will constantly remind you to achieve them. Finally, we are going to mark your work properly – and we are going to ensure you respond to our marking.
